All Are Welcomed!
Normally our children’s program begins in our Sunday School room while services are held in the sanctuary. Children explore & grow their faith through play, activities and stories while creating lasting friendships with peers. Contributing to organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House and the Greater Portland Animal Refuge League, children at Trinity Church begin to understand the importance of helping their community and those in need. The opportunity to participate in church programs such as our Christmas pageant, Sunday services and the choir encourages self confidence and gives youth of all ages a creative outlet to explore and express their faith.
TEEN’S OUTREACH PROJECT – Trinity Church School was given the opportunity to spend $500 from the Church’s Outreach funds to help people in Portland. Teens in grades 8-12 voted on how the funds should be allocated. They donated funds to The Good Shepherd Food Bank, bought and handed out quality water bottles and spent $100 on facemasks which were given to Gerald Talbot Elementary school. The biggest project, however, had the teens purchasing supplies to make cleaning kits for families moving out of homelessness.
